Dr. Pek received her undergraduate medical training at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is double board certified in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine in Singapore and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2019, she was awarded the Gold Medal from the College of Surgeons, Singapore as the best performing advanced surgical trainee in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Pek was also the recipient of the ICOPLAST Award of Excellence in 2019. Currently practising as a plastic surgeon at Singapore General Hospital, her clinical work centres on reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with a subspecialty interest in breast reconstruction and breast plastic surgery. She also has an interest in facial and lymphatic surgery and has presented her work at numerous international and local conferences. Dr. Pek has served as the Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons(SAPS) , as well as the Chapter of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Singapore since 2024. She has played key roles in the organisation of various meetings locally, including scientific chairperson for the Plastic Aesthetic Surgery Meeting in Singapore 2024.
