Responsible for the clinical management and business development of the fertility clinic. • Responsible Officer (RO) for the General Medical Council (GMC) revalidation programme at Herts and Essex Fertility centre. • Person Responsible (PR) to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) for clinical activities at the fertility centre. • Undertake all aspects of IUI, IVF / ICSI treatment, including investigations, scheduling, surgical egg collection, sperm collection and embryo transfers. Medical director and consultant gynaecologist: Ogutu Medical ltd October 2013-present I run a private gynaecology medical practice at BMI Kings oak and Cavell hospitals, as well as The One Hospital, Hatfield. Provide all aspects of benign gynaecology care, including consultations, gynaecology ultrasound and surgical care. Provide advanced minimal access gynaecology services including hysteroscopy resection of fibroids, congenital uterine septum and intrauterine cavity adhesions (Asherman’s syndrome). I also perform advanced laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic myomectomy and hysterectomy for benign gynaecological conditions. Previous positions Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (7.5PA) North Middlesex University Hospital October 2013 to August 2016 I was one of two North Middlesex University Hospital Endometriosis centre consultants. I developed the laparoscopic hysterectomy service there and worked with colleagues to establish an advanced gynaecological laparoscopy service, offering advanced training for tomorrow’s minimal access surgery specialists.
